The 6th Annual Northwest Climate Conference was held this past November in Coeur d’Alene, ID. This conference is the region’s premier opportunity for a cross-disciplinary exchange of knowledge and ideas relating to climate impacts and adaptation. In response to many questions and concerns roused by last spring and summer’s excessive heat and low precipitation, the 6th annual conference focused on the 2015 Water Year. In addition to water-related issues the conference also addressed topics such as the Northwest Climate in general, Wildfire, Ecology and Ecological Adaptation, Wildlife, Agriculture, Communication, Urban Planning and more.
